In Mexico City and some other parts of Mexico a flu epidemic broke out.
Last Friday the government announced a state of alert in Mexico City and its surrounding areas. This means that people are advised to stay in their homes and take precautions to avoid infection and/or spreading the disease. Universities and schools will be closed throughout the country at least until May 6th by presidential order.
Nuffic Neso Mexico will be open for questions by e-mail to info@nesomexico.org or by telephone to +52 55 5254-4013, although this week it will not be possible to visit the office personally. Please note that on Friday, May 1st, Neso Mexico will be closed due to the celebration of Labour Day.
